Former IAS Shyamsundar Bissa sent his message from Jaipur to the handicapped persons running at Geeta Ashram on behalf of Bhajanlal Bissa Smriti Seva Sansthan and Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti. According to Bissa, DR Mehta, the founder of Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti, has a special attachment to Jaisalmer. He has received the award of Padma Bhushan and Rajasthan Ratna. This camp has been set up in Jaisalmer after 48 years. DR Mehta met with an accident in 1968-69 while being the District Collector. It was only after that accident that he took the initiative to work for the society.
